# Google Analytics 4

Gather Google Analytics IDs from visitors to your sites

> Google Analytics 4 replaced Universal Analytics on July 1, 2023. This replacement sunset the Google Analytics 3 integration on the platform.

> As a result of this, [Google Analytics segments](/documentation/docs/google-analytics-segments) is no longer available to use in campaigns. The new Google Analytics 4 integration only supports gathering Google Analytics IDs from web SDKs.

## Upgrade to Google Analytics 4

From your Google Analytics dashboard, open **Admin > Data Streams** and click on the **Data Stream** that you aim to integrate with. From the opened window, copy the **Measurement ID**.

From the Xtremepush dashboard, navigate to **Settings > Apps & Sites**. Click on the web application that you aim to upgrade to Google Analytics 4 and open the **Settings** of the website. Paste your **Measurement ID** on the **Tracking ID** section.
