# Journey Builder 2.0

## Overview

Journey Builder 2.0 is a redesigned way to create and manage multi-stage campaigns. It improves performance, usability, and flexibility. This makes it easier for you to create and optimise customer journeys. The updated interface simplifies campaign creation, while new features like **Webhook** and **Event** actions provide more ways to engage customers effectively.

## Key Features and Enhancements in Journey Builder 2.0

### Performance and Usability Improvements

Journey Builder 2.0 is designed with an optimised system architecture for improved system performance, particularly for high-volume campaigns. The UI has been refined to provide a more intuitive journey-building experience. Here’s a summary of the key usability changes:

- **Drag-and-Drop Node Panel:** When you open Journey Builder 2.0, a node panel appears on the left side of the screen. You can now drag and drop actions directly into the journey, simplifying the campaign setup process.
- **Analytics After Launch:** Draft campaigns no longer display analytics in each node. Analytics will appear in journey nodes once the campaign has been launched. This avoids informational clutter as you build your journey.
- **Error Icon:** An error icon has been added to highlight invalid nodes, making troubleshooting easier and faster. You can view the icon in the top right of the screen.
- **Feature Renaming:Ad Retargeting** has been renamed to **Retargeting** for clarity.
- **Improved Navigation:** Zoom controls, Mini-map, and Grab-mode have been added to a new tab in the top-right corner, making navigation easier and more intuitive.
- **Streamlined Workflow Reporting:** Email stats are now merged under one tab - **Email**. Workflow stats are merged under one tab - **Journey**.
- **Separate Push Channels:** Push channels are now split into individual action nodes: **iOS,Android,** and **Web**. These nodes are found under **Engagement** in the left actions panel.

### New Features

- **Webhook:** Integrate external systems as part of your journey flow. The **Webhook** node is found under **Engagement** in the left actions panel.
- **Trigger Event:** Add an **Event** action to your journey. Choose an event (e.g. an additional event-triggered campaign) that is triggered when a user reaches the event node.
- **Multi-Language (Email):** Email now supports multiple languages. Select any **Email** node in your journey to open up the right-hand panel. Choose the **Setup** tab. Select your **Default Language** using the dropdown and select any additional languages in the**Additional Languages** dropdown. Navigate to the **Content** tab where your languages will appear as separate tabs where you can build your emails.
- **Migration Tool:** Migrate campaigns from Journey Builder 1.0 to 2.0 in stages.
