# Manage Reward Rules

Manage existing reward rules in the Loyalty Hub

In the **Reward Rules** tab, you can view and manage every reward rule you have created. The following information is displayed for each rule:

- **Status**: Indicates if the rule is active or deactivated.
  - **Active**: The reward rule is live and available to users. An active reward rule which is hidden from your users still shows up as active in this list.
  - **Deactivated**: The reward rule is no longer available to users.
- **Name**: This is the internal name of the reward rule
- **Event**: This displays the specific event that triggers the reward rule.
- **Fields**: This column shows the reward, such as tokens or promotions, that users receive for triggering the Reward Rule

Select the analytics icon next to a reward rule to view the following:

- **Total**: The total number of times users have received the reward associated with that rule.
- **Last**: The specific date and time the last reward was last issued.

You can perform several actions to control your reward rules.

- **Activate** or **Deactivate**:
  - Deactivate a reward rule when it is no longer required. Your users will not be able to view or trigger a reward rule when it’s deactivated.
  - Activate a deactivated reward rule if required. If the deactivated rule has date restrictions, ensure the dates are updated. It is recommended to create a new reward rule instead of reactivating an old one for optimal performance.
- **Edit**: Modify the configuration of a reward rule as required. Updates take effect immediately upon saving, and the rule begins operating according to the new parameters without any downtime.
- **Delete**: Permanently remove a reward rule from the platform. When you delete a rule, it is removed from the list and can no longer be accessed or triggered by users. All triggered events and rewards issued to users remain recorded in Xtremepush.

> [!TIP]
> It is recommended to deactivate a reward rule that is no longer required.
