# Overview of Games Hub

Overview of the Xtremepush Games Hub

The Games Hub offers a selection of pre-built games, such as **Wheels**, **Open the Box**, and **Thunderboard**, that provide an interactive way to engage your users.

Once configured, you can embed the game directly into your website using an iframe for your customers to play. While each game includes a standard design and assets, it is also fully customisable, allowing you to change the visual elements to align with your brand and campaign goals.

Prizes are awarded to eligible players by linking rewards to specific user segments. To ensure every player receives a prize, you can also configure a default segment for any users who do not match a pre-defined segment. For an overview of a game configuration and launch, see [Game Launch Workflow](/documentation/docs/game-launch-workflow)

With Xtremepush Games, you can:

- Increase player engagement or re-engage inactive players.
- Boost customer loyalty by offering fun, interactive experiences.
- Drive conversions by linking game outcomes to special offers or promotions.

### Key Differences between Casino and Sports Games

There are two key differences between casino and sports games:

#### Prize Logic

Sports games are tournament or league based and rely on real-world sporting events. For example, in our *Bracket Predictor* game, players make their selections for a real tournament. Their results are updated real-time through the Xtremepush sports feed. These results determine how prizes are awarded.

Casino games do not rely on any external data. You have full control over the winning logic because you can configure weights or probabilities for your prizes. This configuration determines the frequency and likelihood of prizes being won.

> [!NOTE]
> Both Casino and Sports games allow you to configure prizes for specific user segments.

#### Front-end Customisation Process

Both Casino and Sports games have customisable front-ends, but the customisation process differs.

Casino Games: Casino games come with a pre-built template. When you select the template, an asset pack is automatically generated for your game. You have full control over the visual appearance of the game where you can:

- Modify or replace the assets provided in the template.
- Add additional assets beyond those included in the template.
- You can use the game editor, which is a design tool that allows for the customisation of the game layout and appearance. See [Editor Overview](/documentation/docs/editor-overview) and [Editor Use Cases](/documentation/docs/editor-use-cases) for more information about the Editor.

Sports Games: For Sport games, you must provide a *Figma* file of your designs to your Xtremepush account manager. We use this to create an asset pack for you to upload, which includes all the required images. This asset pack forms the front-end of your game. To help you get started, we can also provide a standard *Figma* file of the game design.

> [!TIP]
> Engagement Duration
>
> Both game types are effective for long term engagement. Sports games are tournament based, which makes them suitable for the duration of a specific sporting event. Casino games can be used for short term engagement, such as a quick spin to win wheel, or for long term campaigns where users return daily to play over several months.

| Feature | Sports Games | Casino Games |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Type | Real-world tournaments or leagues | Instant win or daily play |
| Prize Logic | Based on real-time tournament results via the sports feeds | Based on internal prize probability or weight configurations |
| Game Front-end | Managed by Xtremepush using your *Figma* designs (Doesn't have game Editor) | Managed by you using templates and the built-in Editor |
