The configuration for this example is as follows:

## Specify Desired Action and Occurrence

1. **Desired Action**: Select the event , for example *referralmade*, with a target of 5. This means a user must make 5 referrals to complete this quest.
2. **Occurrence**: Set the occurrence to **One Time**, as the desired action of five referrals, must only occur once.

## Specify Quest Restrictions

The quest must have the following restrictions

- Select the *Refer 3 Friends Before March* quest in the **Unlocks After Completing** drop-down. This ensures that this quest is unlocked only after users complete the existing quest requiring 3 referrals.
- Select the **Immediately** checkbox. This ensures that the quest is immediately available to users after you finish the quest configuration.
- Set the quest completion date to **1st March** as the quest must be completed before March. After this date, the quest is deactivated and no longer visible to users.
