# Use Case: Summer High Roller Tournament

You want to run a three-month, summer-long tournament that rewards your highest-spending bettors. Users must opt in before their activity counts, and only bets of 30 or more count as qualifying bets.

Their score is based on how many qualifying bets they place. You want to reward the top 3 bettors generously, and give a smaller reward to positions 4 to 30.

The configuration for this example is as follows:

## Tournament Score

- **Progress Counter**: Set to **+1 with every event**.
- **Desired Action**: Set to `BetExecuted`, with a requirement that `$.body.amount.value ≥ 30`. Together with the **+1 with every event** progress counter, each bet a user places of 30 or more adds 1 to their score.
- **Start At** and **End At**: Set to define a three-month summer window, for example 1 June to 31 August.

- **Require users to opt in before they can score**: Enabled this option to ensure that users must opt in to participate in the tournament.

## Rewards

- **Rotation Period**: Leave this field empty, since this tournament runs once and rewards are distributed when it ends.
- Click **Add Reward** and configure the following rewards:

- **Description**: *Opt in and stake to climb the leaderboard. The top 30 bettors by total amount staked win rewards when the tournament ends.*
- **Blocked description**: Leave this empty, since there are no participation requirements for this tournament.
- **Score label**: *Total Amount Staked*
