Add Attribute Rewards
Use attributes to provide non token rewards like experience points
You can use attributes to offer non-token rewards within your loyalty solution. Common use cases include rewarding experience points or similar status-based rewards to your users.
Example Use Case
The following example shows one way of creating and using an Experience attribute reward in your loyalty solution.
Create the Attribute Reward
To implement an attribute reward, first create an attribute in the Xtremepush CDP, for example, Experience. Once this is created, it automatically appears within the Attributes section of the Loyalty Hub.
Then in the Attributes tab in the Loyalty Hub, do the following:
- Select the Experience attribute and then select Create Reward.
- Provide a title, description, and an icon for the reward.
- Click Submit
This creates an Experience attribute reward in your loyalty solution.
Apply the Attribute Reward
When you create a loyalty feature, like a reward rule or a quest, you can now assign this attribute to your users.
- Go to the Rewards section of your rule or quest.
- Add two rewards:
- First Reward: Select your Experience attribute from the reward list.
- Second Reward: Choose Game Element to define how many experience points the users will receive:
-
Amount: Set the value to
1since this is a one-time experience reward. -
Attribute Path: Select the path of your Experience attribute.
-
Operator: Select Add.
-
Value: Set the value to a specific number, such as
10.For more information on Game Element Rewards, see Loyalty Reward Types.
-
Your users can now see the quest or reward rule on the widget, with the associated 10 experience points. When a user triggers this reward rule or quest, they receive the 10 experience points.
The values for the Experience attribute are stored and updated in two locations:
- The All Users tab in the Loyalty Hub.
- Individual User Profiles within the Xtremepush CDP.
