Beyond Xtremepush, XpertOS connects to the other tools your team relies on. Once connected, your assistant can search and use them in conversation, and your flows can read from and write to them automatically. This guide covers how each connection works and the steps to set it up.
Read / Write
Note that the ability to read and/or write is dependant on the specific integration. Integrations available at launch are listed below along with their connection type.
Two types of connection
Type | How it works | Example Integrations |
|---|---|---|
User-level | Each person connects their own account and sees only the data they have access to. Credentials are never shared between users. | Google Drive, Atlassian, Asana, Airtable, Xtremepush |
Organisation-level | Connected once by an administrator and available to everyone in the organisation. | Zendesk, Slack |
Integrations available at launch
Integration | Connection type | Permissions |
|---|---|---|
Airtable | User | Read, Write |
Asana | User | Read, Write |
Atlassian (Confluence) | User | Read, Write |
Atlassian (Jira) | User | Read |
ClickHouse | User | Read |
Google Drive | User | Read |
Hubspot | User | Read |
Slack | Organisation | Write |
Zendesk | Organisation | Reads |
Connect a service that uses OAuth
Google Drive, Atlassian, Asana, Airtable, Zendesk, and Slack all connect through OAuth, which means you sign in to the service itself and approve the connection. XpertOS never sees your password.
Click Settings at the bottom of the sidebar and open the Integrations tab.
Find the required service and click Connect.
You are taken to the service to sign in. Use the account whose data you want XpertOS to work with.
Review the requested permissions and approve them.
You are returned to XpertOS with the connection complete and a green indicator showing.
Approve every permission screen
If you close the sign-in window or skip a permission screen part-way through, the connection fails silently. If a service shows as disconnected after you signed in, run Connect again and approve each step.
Services which require your company administrator to set up
For the following services your company administrator enters your subdomain and approves the connection once for the whole organisation.
Slack
Send messages from flows to Slack channels, such as a daily report or an alert when a threshold is hit.
Zendesk
Search support tickets, users, and organisations, read-only.
Custom APIs
If a tool you need is not in the list (such as your company specific odds feed for example) a tenant administrator can connect any HTTP API from the Custom APIs tab in Settings, and define custom tools your Xperts can use. Domain allow-lists and approval gates on data-modifying calls keep this safe. Ask your company administrator, or your account manager, if you have a system you would like connected.
Troubleshooting
Connection failed: check you approved all permission screens, then disconnect and reconnect.
Cannot see expected data: XpertOS only sees what your account can see in the source service. Check your permissions there.
An integration stopped working: OAuth tokens expire and API keys get rotated. Reconnect the service, or update the key in Settings.
