Setting your report house style

Prev Next

Set the fonts, colours, layout and branding that every report in your account uses.

The house style applies to every report, including takes already written: a change shows the next time a take is viewed, emailed or downloaded.

Before you begin

Anyone can view the house style and preview it. Only a tenant admin can change it.

Change the house style

  1. Click Analyse in the sidebar, then Reports.

  2. Click House style.

  3. Change any of the settings below. The Preview shows the result on a sample Weekly CRM performance report, in light and dark mode.

  4. Click Save. The page confirms that every report now uses the new style.

To go back to the default style, click Reset to default.

Settings

Typography

Fonts for Display (headings) (Newsreader, Fraunces or a system serif), Body (Inter, DM Sans or a system sans-serif) and Mono (labels and figures) (JetBrains Mono or a system monospace).

Colours

The page palette in Light and Dark. Click Derive dark from light to work out the dark palette for you.

Series palette

The colours charts and chips use, in order: 6 to 8 colours each for light and dark. A chart with more series repeats them.

Channel colours

One colour per channel (Email, Push, In-app, SMS, Web push, Inbox, WhatsApp and Other), so a channel looks the same in every chart, chip and legend.

Shape and density

Corner radius (px) (4 to 20), Maximum width (px) (880 to 1440) and Density (Comfortable or Compact).

Brand

Logo (PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 150 KB, shown up to 36 px high), Header text (up to 120 characters) shown beside the logo, and Footer text (up to 200 characters), for example Confidential.

Page size

A4 or Letter, used when a report is printed or saved as a PDF.

If a colour is hard to read against its background, the page warns you and suggests a shade that works. You can still save.
