Achievements
Overview of Achievements and their use cases
Achievements are milestone rewards you can offer to your users. While reward rules and quests are triggered by specific events, achievements are awarded based on user attributes.
Some examples of achievements include:
- A Quest Master achievement for users who’ve completed 20 quests
- The _Veteran _achievement for users whose account age has reached 365 days.
Achievements Overview
Achievements drive long term engagement by rewarding users based on their overall profile history. For each achievement you can specify the following:
- Triggers: Define the specific user attribute values your users must reach to earn the achievement. For example, an achievement triggers when a user's total_deposit attribute reaches €1,000.
- User Restrictions: Target the specific user segments that can earn the achievement.
- Order of completion: Create achievement chains where a user must finish one achievement before they can progress to the next. For example, you can require a user to earn a Bronze achievement before they can unlock Silver and Gold achievements.
- Reward type: Choose the exact reward the user receives, such as tokens, external bonuses and more.
- Visibility: Control how the achievement appears in the loyalty widget. Achievements can be made visible to allow users to track their progress, or hidden to create a surprise reward that only appears once the user has met the requirement
Achievement Time RestrictionsAchievements do not have time restrictions. They remain active until you manually deactivate them.
Common Use Cases
Use achievements to reward long-term loyalty and profile milestones that are not tied to a single event. Common use cases include:
- Account milestones: Reward users based on their account history, such as a Veteran achievement for users who reach a one-year membership anniversary.
- Activity milestones: Celebrate high levels of engagement, such as a Quest Master achievement for users who complete 20 or more quests.
- Cumulative spend: Incentivise continued investment by awarding users who reach specific financial thresholds, such as a total lifetime deposit of €1,000.
- Surprise rewards: Use hidden achievements to delight users when they reach an unexpected milestone, like placing their first bet on a specific sport.
