Configure Polls

To create a poll, go to Ways to Earn > Polls > Create. The sections below describe the configuration for each section of a Poll.

Poll Configuration

In the Configurations section, you manage the poll questions, answers, visibility, and duration.

• Title: Enter the poll question that is displayed to your users.
• Poll Options: Specify the poll answers your users can choose from. Use the plus icon to add as many poll answers as you require.
• Multiple answers: Select this checkbox to allow users to select more than one Poll Option.
• User can skip: Select this checkbox to allow users to skip the poll. If a user chooses to not answer a poll, they will continue to see it on your widget unless you select this checkbox.
• Is revote limited: Specify if users can change their answers after submission.
  • If you select No, users can revote any number of times but will not get a reward for each vote.
  • If you select Yes, enter a number to specify how many times a user can revote. If you don’t want users to change their votes at all, select Yesand enter 0.
• Completion Duration: Define the timeframe within which users must answer your poll. The available duration options range from minutes, hours, days, with a maximum of 4 weeks. If you don’t want any time restrictions on the poll, select Not Restricted.
• Results Visibility Duration: Specify how long users can see the poll results. The Results visibility duration begins after the Completion Duration has ended.

  If you set this field to Not Shown, your users will not be able to re-vote. This is because the users can only re-vote after they submit their picks and see the poll results.

• Start Date: Set the exact date and time when the poll begins. To create an end date, you must add a Completion Duration as polls do not have a specific end date field. Users can submit their answers between the Start Date and the end of the Completion Duration.
• Description: Add an optional description to provide more context regarding the poll.

Specify Poll Reward

Under Rewards, specify one or more rewards that the user receives once they submit their vote. See Loyalty Reward Types for more information on the different reward types and how to configure them.

Specify Poll Restrictions

In this section, you can define which users can see and participate in the poll. You can use user attributes or segments to target your audience.
