Polls

Overview of Polls and their use cases

Polls allow you to engage users by asking for their opinions or preferences. They are designed to reward participation regardless of the specific answer a user provides. This makes them effective for general engagement and for maintaining interest among users who are not winning in other areas of your loyalty featuress.

Some examples of polls include:

  • A Feature Request poll where users vote on the next update to earn 10 free spins.
  • A _Favourite Spor_t poll where users vote for their favourite sport to earn 50 tokens.

Polls Overview

Polls provide a low-friction way for users to interact with your loyalty solution while you gather valuable insights. For each poll, you can configure the following:

  • Question and answers: Create the poll question and the set of predefined answers.
  • User Participation: Define if users can select a single answer or multiple answers. You can also allow users to change their answers after they have submitted them by setting a specific limit on how many times a user can re-vote.
  • User Eligibility: Restrict poll participation to specific user segments.
  • Availability: Control exactly when a poll starts and how long it remains active for your users.
  • Results Visibility: Choose to display the final results to users for a specific duration after they have voted or keep the results hidden.

Common Use Cases

Use polls to increase daily user activity or to collect feedback from your users. Common use cases include the following:

  • Feedback collection: Reward users with 10 tokens for voting on which new feature they would like to see next.
  • Sentiment tracking: Ask users about their experience with a recent campaign and reward a specific quest for their response.
  • Market research: Reward 50 tokens to users who share their preferences for specific types of promotional offers.
  • Engagement for non winners: Offer a poll with a 50 token reward for users who have not had a successful bet recently to keep them active in the loyalty widget.
