The Xtremepush platform now has a redesigned user interface. Use this page as a reference for the visual, navigation, and analytics changes introduced with the redesign.
Summary of Redesign Changes
The following are the key changes made with this UI redesign:
Visual Update: The platform has a new visual style, including updated fonts, icons, and colors. This is a visual update only and does not change how any feature works.
New homepage elements: The homepage now shows more information, including your recently viewed and upcoming campaigns, alongside analytics. It keeps the existing channel-specific performance details and adds the following new components:
Recently viewed and upcoming campaigns
7-day user campaign view
Campaign Performance
Highest Event Hits
Highest Campaign Unsubscribes
Total Active Users and Addressable Users
See New Components and Analytics Changes below for details on each component.
Reorganized navigation: Platform navigation is now grouped into five sections:
The separate Analytics and Content tabs no longer exist. Their contents now sit within the sections below.
Engage: Includes everything related to:
Campaigns, including creating campaigns, viewing existing campaigns, and campaign analytics
Content, including content templates, snippets, email rows, push categories
Web fonts
Xperience Hub: Your gamification and loyalty solutions, if enabled on your project.
Data: Similar to the previous analytics tabs, but now split across four tabs: Users, KPIs, Monitor, and Data Settings.
Intelligence: The Intelligence suite, including Infinity AI, if enabled on your project.
Settings: Includes your project settings.
Improved analytics: Existing charts and graphs have been redesigned, and new analytics components have been added. See New Components and Analytics Changes below for details on each component.
New Components and Analytics Changes
Analytics has changed the most in this update. Charts and tables have been redesigned, reorganized into new tabs, and new graphs have been introduced within the analytics tabs.
This section walks through the new components and the analytics changes. Each item is marked (new) if it did not exist before, or (redesigned) if it replaces an existing analytics component.
Home Page
Recently viewed (new): See your most recently viewed campaigns, listed in the order you viewed them.
Upcoming campaigns (new): See the list of scheduled campaigns in your project. Triggered campaigns, such as API or event triggered, are not shown here.
Campaign Analytics
Go to Engage > Campaign Analytics to see your campaign analytics.
All Campaigns tab:
Campaigns and Compare Campaigns (redesigned): Select up to 5 campaigns under Campaigns, then select a metric under Compare Campaigns to compare them. These tabs replace the graphs under Analytics > Campaigns > Comparison in the old UI.
Campaign Performance (new): Ranks all campaigns in your project by performance, based on a metric you select. You can also filter by one or more channels, and choose to see your top or least performing campaigns. Hover over a bar to see whether the campaign is active and which channel it belongs to.
Channels tab (redesigned): Breakdown of campaign metrics by channel over a selected time period. In the old UI, this breakdown appeared on the home page. It now has a dedicated tab with its own graph for each metric.
From previous period
The From previous period metric shows the change from the equivalent previous period. For example, if you select one month, it shows the change from the previous month
Unsubscribes tab:
User unsubscribes (new): A line graph showing total user unsubscribes for a project, broken down by channel.
Highest unsubscribe by campaign (new): A bar chart ranking campaigns by number of unsubscribes, including a total count. Hover over a bar to see the channel breakdown for campaigns with multiple channels.
User Analytics
Go to Data > User Analytics to see your user analytics.
Users tab:
Total Users (redesigned): Shows your total users over time. A user is someone with at least one active device associated with them. This section replaces the Active Users tab under Analytics > Users in the old UI.
Total Active Users (redesigned): A donut chart showing new and active users over the same time period. Hover over the chart to see the breakdown of users by channel. This section replaces the Active Users tab under Analytics > Users in the old UI.
7-day user campaign view (new): A line graph that shows how your campaign activity has trended over the last 7 days. This graph always covers the past 7 days, so the date range you select elsewhere on the page does not apply here.
Users Contacted: The total number of users that received your campaigns. If a person receives multiple campaigns, they are counted once for each campaign they receive. For example, if you send 3 campaigns to the same person, that counts as 3 users contacted.
Unique Users: The total number of unique users who received your campaigns. Each person is counted once, no matter how many campaigns they received. For example, if the same person receives 3 campaigns, they still count as 1 unique user.
This metric does not reflect the total number of users in your project. It only counts the users reached by your campaigns in the last 7 days.
Total addressable users (new): A donut chart and table showing addressable users broken down by channel. Addressable users are those who can be reached through a specific channel (for example, email, SMS, or push) based on the contact information they have shared.
Sessions tab:
User Engagement (redesigned): A line graph tracking user sessions and total users over time, for Android and iOS only. A session runs from when a user opens the app to when they close it. This replaces the Frequency and Recency under Analytics > Users in the old UI.
Engagement time (new):A dual-axis line graph tracking average session time and total time spent in the app.
Devices tab: Contains the graphs previously under Analytics > Devices in the old UI.
Web Browsers (redesigned): Donut chart showing the share of users on each web browser, with totals by browser.
Mobile Carriers (redesigned): Donut chart showing the share of users on each mobile carrier. Can be split by OS (Android/iOS).
Users by Platform (redesigned): Donut chart showing the overall number of users by platform (website, Android, or iOS).
Mobile Versions (redesigned): Donut chart showing the share of users on each OS version.
Mobile Device Models (redesigned): Donut chart showing the share of users on each device model.
Locations tab: Contains the graphs previously under Analytics > Locations in the old UI.
Languages (redesigned): Shows your users broken down by the language they use.
Countries (redesigned): Shows your users broken down by country.
Geo and iBeacons (redesigned): A map of your added geofences and iBeacons, with entries and unique entries by users into those locations.
Event Analytics
Go to Data > Event Analytics to see analytics for your events.
Event tab:
Event and Compare Event (redesigned): Select up to 5 events in the Events section and compare their hit trends over time under Compare Event.
You can only compare events if ClickHouse is enabled on your project.
Highest event hits (new): Bar chart showing the list of events and their total hits, ranked from highest to lowest.
Funnel Analysis tab (redesigned): See how users move through a series of steps based on tags fired from the Xtremepush SDKs, including how many users completed each step and where they dropped off.
