To sync user updates from a rolling segment to your external platform, you must first configure a Webhook Stream. This stream serves as the reusable, secure connection that you can select as the Destination when setting up the external sync for a rolling segment. For more information on setting up rolling segment destinations, see Sync rolling segments with external systems.
To connect your webhook stream, go to Settings > Integrations > Marketplace > Webhook Stream. Provide the following details, then click Connect
Can't see this option?
Webhook Stream does not appear in your Integrations Marketplace by default. Contact your Account Manager to enable it for your project.
Basic Settings
Name: Enter a descriptive name so you can easily identify your integration.
Delivery Destination Settings
These settings define the endpoint that receives your rolling segment data.
Destination URL: Enter the full endpoint URL of the external system that will receive the segment updates. The URL must begin with
http://orhttps://Authentication Method: Select how Xtremepush authenticates with your destination endpoint:
OAuth 2.0: Authenticate using the OAuth2 protocol. Provide the following credentials:
Oauth2 Auth URL: Enter the full token endpoint URL from your OAuth2 provider, not just the base URL. For example,
https://example.com/oauth2/tokenOauth2 Client ID: Enter the Client ID for your application.
Oauth2 Client Secret: Enter the Client Secret associated with your application.
Oauth2 Scope (Optional): If required by your provider, enter the specific scope(s) for the access token.
Auth Bearer Token: Enter the bearer token for your endpoint under Auth Bearer Token
Segment Source Settings
These settings define the endpoint that Xtremepush uses to read the list of segments from your external system.
When the segment source is set up, you can select an external segment by name and ID when you add a destination to a rolling segment. If you don’t set up the segment source, you have to enter the external ID manually.
Enable Segment Source: Turn on this toggle to set up a segment source.
Segment Source URL: Enter the full endpoint URL that returns your segment list. The URL must begin with
https://Authentication Method: Select how Xtremepush authenticates with your segment source endpoint:
Same as Delivery Destination: Reuse the authentication details from the Delivery Destination Settings section. Select this option when your segment source endpoint and your destination endpoint use the same authentication.
OAuth 2.0: Provide separate OAuth2 credentials for the segment source endpoint. The fields are the same as in the Delivery Destination Settings section.
Auth Bearer Token: Provide a separate bearer token for the segment source endpoint.
When you save the integration, Xtremepush sends a test request to the Segment Source URL. If the request fails, Xtremepush does not save the integration and shows an error message. Check the URL and authentication details, then try again
