Add colleagues to your organisation's XpertOS account so they can start using the platform. This guide covers who can add users, the two account types available, and the steps to create a new user.
Before you begin
You need the Organization Administrator role to add new users.
(If you cannot see the option described below, contact your Account Manager.)
Types of users
When you create a new user, you choose between two roles:
Role | What it means |
|---|---|
Organization Administrator | Full admin rights, including the ability to manage other users:
|
Standard user | The default role. Recommended for most colleagues, unless they specifically need full admin rights:
|
Add a user
Click the Settings icon in the left-hand navigation.
Click Admin.
Scroll down to the User Management section.
Click Add User
In the Add User window, fill in:
First Name
Last Name
Email: the new user's work email address.
Password: set a password meeting the minimum 12-character requirement.
Organization Administrator: leave this box unticked for new users, unless they need full admin rights (see Types of users above).
Click Create.
The new user appears in your User Management list.
Password reset required
XpertOS does not notify the new user about their account. Once the account is created, direct them to the login page and ask them to use the Forgot password link with the email address you set. They can then create their own password.
Notes
You can review and manage all existing users from the same User Management list. It shows each user's email, name, and role.
If a user leaves or should no longer have access, use the disable or remove action next to their entry in the list. Contact your Account Manager if you need help with this.
