Manage Users
Monitor how users interact with your loyalty widget and manage user details
For more information on how users are recorded in the Loyalty Hub, see User Profiles under Prerequisites.
View User Activity
When users interact with your loyalty widget, for example, progress through levels or quests, earn tokens and rewards, their details are recorded in the All Users tab in the Loyalty Hub.
In the All Users tab, you can see the following information for each user:
- User ID: Corresponds to the user ID recorded under Data Manager > User Profiles. Selecting the user ID provides detailed information about the user. See Single Profile View below for more information.
- level.current: Indicates the current level the user belongs to. This is a number rather than the name of the level. 1 corresponds to the first level you have created and 2 corresponds to the second level. For example, level 1 (bronze), level 2 (silver), and level 3 (gold) would be levels 1, 2, and 3. level.current is a default filter that is enabled on the All Users tab.
- quest.completions total: Shows the total number of quests completed by the user. This is a default filter that is enabled on the All Users tab.
- Tokens: The total tokens the user currently has.
- Last Active: The timestamp of when the user last interacted with your loyalty widget.
Single Profile View
Selecting a User ID provides a more granular view of user activity. The following details are recorded in this view:
- Token and Quest Overview:
- Tokens: The user’s current token balance. This includes tokens that are frozen for pending transactions or withdrawals. For example, if a user has 1000 tokens and spends 200 tokens on a redeem option, the Tokens value remains 1000 until the transaction is processed.
- Available Tokens: The total number of tokens the user can currently use. For example, if a user has 1000 tokens and withdraws 500, this transaction may take some time to process. In this scenario, the Tokens value remains 1000 and the Available tokens value is 500 because the user only has 500 tokens left to use.
- Quests Done: The number of quests completed by the user.
- User Profile: This section shows how the user’s profile appears on the widget. This display is configured under Users > Profiles. See Manage Profile Appearance for more information.
- Reward Rules: Lists the reward rules the user is eligible for. For example, if you have 7 active reward rules and the user is only eligible for 1, the single reward rule is displayed along with text 1/7.
- User Segments: This section displays all user segments that the user belongs to. Every user segment you have created is listed here with checkboxes to indicate the segments the user is currently in.
- Custom Attributes: Displays attributes imported from the Xtremepush CDP. These values can be edited, and changes are also reflected in the User Profiles tab in the CDP. For more information on custom attributes, see Manage Attributes.
- System Attributes: This section includes all loyalty specific attributes. You can edit these values if required. For more information on system attributes, see the Manage Loyalty Attributes.
- Total Rewards Earned: The total number of tokens the user has ever earned.
- Total Rewards Redeemed: The total number of tokens used for redeem transactions by the user. This value is only displayed if you have configured redeem options in your loyalty solution.
- Achievements: All achievements the user is eligible for and the total number they have achieved.
Filters and columns can be added as required based on the user attributes. For example, level.current is a standard attribute in loyalty that you can add to your view.
Send Individual RewardsTo manually award a user, select Send Reward next to their user record. This reward appears as a special transaction on the user's widget in the transactions page.
The message you include when sending the reward is currently for internal use and does not display to the user.
Profile ResetThe Reset option allows you to clear all data from a user profile. Review the following before proceeding, as this reset action is irreversible.
When you reset a profile, the following changes occur:
- All attribute values for the user are cleared and become empty.
- The total token balance is set to 0.
- All historical transaction data is permanently deleted for that user.
- The user retains their current quest progress and any earned achievement badges.
