This page is a record of what is new and improved in each XpertOS release, with the newest release first.

v2.4.0 (20 October 2026)

New features

  • Xpert steps replace data connectors: Connector steps such as Intelligence Query, Google Drive, Jira, Confluence and Xtremepush can no longer be added to flows.Use an Xpert step instead. Your existing connector steps keep running and stay editable, and each one has a Convert to Xpert option that shows a preview first, can run a test and can be undone. A new built-in Workspace Specialist Xpert reads and updates Google Drive, Confluence, HubSpot and ClickUp, and the Inspiration library has been rebuilt on Xpert steps (26 flows).

  • Ticket automations (Work Trafficking): Flows can now start when a ticket changes, for example when it is created, moved, blocked, fails QA or is signed off, or when it sits in a stage too long. Flows can assign tickets to people or Xperts, and move, label, comment on, link and create tickets. Ten ready-made starters, such as routing new campaign tickets to an Xpert or nudging stale tickets, get you going quickly, and automations follow the same QA and sign-off rules as people. Work Trafficking requires enabling for your account. Speak to your account manager for a demo.

Improvements

  • Smaller flows from the Assistant: The Assistant now shows the flow it plans to build one line per step and creates it only when you say yes. It never switches a flow on unless you ask, starts from a ready-made starter where one fits, keeps to one Xpert step unless the job needs more, and links every flow, ticket and content item it creates.

  • Xperts understand your Intelligence data better: Xperts in chat and flows now read a guide to your Intelligence tables, covering what each table and column means and which to use for which question which leads to fewer exploratory queries before an answer and queries that pick the right table first. If a query names a table that has been replaced, the Xpert is told which one to use instead.

  • Private approvals and feedback: Only the person who raised a flow or chat approval can see and answer it, while team approvals stay open to the team. Xpert feedback comments are visible only to admins and the Xpert's creator, and everyone else sees counts and a four-week trend.

  • My Flows: My Flows now has search and filters.

Fixes

  • Permissions: Role and permission changes now take effect without you signing out and back in.

  • Team flows: Team members can now run a team flow from the canvas.

  • Switching flows on: A flow with no trigger, or with blanks still to fill, can no longer be switched on.

  • Flow run details: Flow run details no longer show model, token or temperature text.

  • Assistant replies always arrive: If your network holds back the live stream of an Assistant reply, the reply, including any approval or form cards, is now fetched automatically

  • No more stuck conversations: After a cut-off reply you can send a new message after a short delay, and approvals that have timed out clearly say so.

  • Long tasks pause instead of failing: The 50-step limit per reply is gone. Very long tasks now pause after 200 steps with a Continue card, and tasks that go round in circles stop with a short summary of how far they got.

  • Faster for everyone: A slow request to Xtremepush, Braze or the database no longer slows down other users, and command palette searches that take too long stop after 5 seconds and suggest you type a little more.

  • Synced data clean-up: Per-profile Xtremepush tasks are now counted per day, and the Assistant can still answer questions such as how many profile imports failed yesterday. Old synced data is tidied up automatically, and your campaigns and journeys are never removed.

  • Search on large data sets: Searches with more than 10,000 matches now say "more than 10,000", and searches that take more than 15 seconds stop and suggest narrowing by type, status or date.

  • Faster journey building: Large Xtremepush journeys, including email copy, now build in a few steps, with every validation problem listed once and up to 60 steps fixed in one pass.

  • Creating tickets: Creating a ticket from the Assistant now works first time. If a label doesn't exist, the ticket is still created and the reply tells you which labels were skipped.

  • Flow permissions: A permission error while running a flow no longer signs you out.

  • Image templates: Image template variants that use an uploaded custom font now generate again.

  • Tickets (beta): A new Tickets section under Plan gives you one board to plan, write, check, sign off and deploy your marketing work. Campaign tickets take a send from plan through content, QA and sign-off to a campaign deployed in Xtremepush, while Analysis and Investigation tickets cover research and reporting work. Every ticket follows the same stages (Backlog, Planning, Content, QA, Approved, Assembly, Done), you can't skip QA, and every sign-off is made by a person, so what was approved is always what gets sent. Switch between board and list views, save filtered views, and track cycle time, throughput and blocked work in the built-in metrics.

  • Xperts on tickets (beta): Assign an Xpert to a ticket with an instruction and it can draft the plan, write the content and run QA, with live progress on the board. Xperts can only change the ticket they were assigned and can never sign off or deploy. In chat, your assistant can create and update tickets too, proposing changes first and acting once you confirm.

  • Campaign Content (beta): A new Campaign Content section under Content gives you one place for every message your team sends, written once, reviewed, approved and reused across tickets. Each item holds the copy for one channel (Email, Push, Web push, SMS or In-app) with a numbered history of versions, and approved versions are never edited. You get desktop, mobile and lock-screen previews, and a live SMS character and parts counter that warns you when special characters shorten your message.

  • Review, approval and automatic checks (beta): Submit copy for review and an approver signs it off. You can optionally require a second approver in Control Tower, and every review action is recorded in your audit log. Automatic checks cover display limits, merge fields, links and images, brand voice against your Knowledge Base, and compliance rules your admins set up. A failing compliance rule blocks approval unless an admin approves with a written, audited reason.

  • A/B variants and languages (beta): Add up to four A/B variants with a percentage split, or up to 20 languages with built-in translation. Each deploys as a single Xtremepush campaign. A campaign can use variants or languages, but not both yet.

  • Import and reuse (beta): Import up to 50 past campaigns from Xtremepush at once, turn an approved email into Push, SMS and other channel drafts in one click, and search your library by meaning rather than just keywords. You can also see opens, clicks and sends credited to the exact version that was sent.

  • Campaigns (beta): A new Campaigns section lists every campaign a ticket has built, with its status and latest deployment. Each campaign page is a read-only view of exactly what will be sent: audience, schedule, content for every channel, variants and languages, and deployment results. Anyone can review a campaign safely without being able to change it.

  • Journeys (early access): Open an Xtremepush journey or a Braze canvas as a map or outline, see every step in plain English, and run QA to flag problems on the step where they occur. You can bring an existing journey onto a ticket or build a new one from blank or from a Welcome series or Re-engagement template. Deploying creates the journey in Xtremepush as a draft for you to activate there, and nothing is ever deleted in Xtremepush. Journeys is available to selected accounts only while it is in early access.

  • Xtremepush OAuth connections: You can now connect an instance with OAuth using your Client ID, Client Secret and API host. XpertOS warns you before your credentials expire, a new Test button checks the connection, and switching an existing instance from App Token to OAuth keeps all its synced data and links.

  • ClickUp integration: Connect your own ClickUp account and choose which workspaces to share. In chat and with your Xperts you can browse, search and read tasks, create tasks and lists, and add comments, and updating or deleting a task always asks for your approval first. A new ClickUp block in Flows can search, read, create and update tasks.

  • Simpler navigation: The navigation is reorganised into Home, Assistant, Xperts, Plan, Automate, Campaigns, Content, Inbox and Settings, and is the same on desktop and mobile. On mobile, the Inbox badge and Xperts list now load too, and Morning Briefing is now simply Briefing.

  • Asset Library is now Media: You'll find it under Content, and old links redirect. A new Media picker with search, categories and Upload new is used across the app, including the Dynamic Content image editor.

  • Clearer add-ons: Audience Theatre and Dynamic Content now show a lock if your account doesn't have them, and clicking one explains what it is and how to get it.

  • Smarter command palette: The ⌘K palette now finds pages as well as content, and only offers pages you can open.

  • Longer tasks finish: A chat turn can now take up to 50 steps, up from 10, and Flow AI Action blocks get 50 by default, up from 25, so long multi-step requests no longer stop part-way.

  • Better default model in Flows: AI Action blocks with no model selected now use the current default model.

  • Written content for flow emails: When your assistant builds a flow with an email step, it now adds a Content Specialist before it to write the email, and validation warns you if one is missing.

  • Readable audit log: The Control Tower audit log now shows plain-English actions, such as "Approved with override", while exports keep the raw values.

  • Xperts and Control Tower for everyone: Both are now included in every account.

  • Logging out: Logging out now fully signs you out, even after you've been idle for a while.

  • Login and password reset: These pages no longer reload part-way through, which used to clear what you'd typed and break reset links.

  • Dark mode: Dark mode now works on the Dynamic Content list and the image template editor.

  • Code-style fields: Fields such as email HTML and Flow queries now show exactly what you type, with no merged characters.

  • Reliable streaming for large responses: Large saved artefacts and published reports now stream through reliably instead of stalling and timing out partway through.

  • More stable long conversations: Long, tool-heavy conversations no longer break once they pass a message limit

  • Clearer Journey Builder messaging: If Journey Builder isn't set up for your instance, the assistant now tells you plainly instead of offering journey and email-authoring tools that would fail - a platform administrator can provision it if you need it.

  • Accurate connection status: The assistant no longer wrongly reports your Xtremepush connection as broken when an unrelated error occurs - it now checks your credentials properly and confirms when the connection is working.

  • Clearer flow validation: Flows with a block that needs an instance or database but has none selected are now flagged before you try to run them, with a clear message, instead of failing unexpectedly partway through.

  • Clearer app token errors: An invalid app token is now reported plainly as a credential issue that names the affected instance and tells you an administrator needs to update it in Settings, instead of appearing as a vague, retried error.

  • Results as tables: Warehouse (Intelligence) query results now render as a proper table in chat instead of a block of raw text, and your Jira and Confluence lookups now render as cards too.

  • Guided forms for complex requests: For tasks with several parameters, such as building a segment's conditions or a campaign's channel matrix, you may now be shown a short form to fill in instead of being asked one question at a time. You can also skip the form and carry on in free text.

  • Streamed replies, on request: You can now have replies appear word by word as they're written, rather than all at once. Ask your admin or CSM to turn this on for your tenant; it takes effect immediately.

  • Granular permissions: Your admins can now define custom permission bundles instead of relying only on fixed roles, and get a new Roles page for duplicating and customising the built-in roles. Nobody's existing access changes as part of this update.

  • Transparent support access: When our support team needs to access your workspace, you'll now see a persistent banner showing whether they're observing read-only or acting on your behalf, along with the reason. Access is time-limited and fully audited, and any usage this generates is excluded from your billing.

  • Faster responses: Multi-step questions typically now complete in fewer steps, thanks to setup work happening in the background, reused context between turns, and independent lookups running in parallel.

  • Clearer tool previews: Tool cards under a reply now show a preview of what they returned, rather than just "Completed".

  • Fewer stalls and hangs: If the assistant is genuinely at capacity, you'll get a clear message

  • Smarter follow-ups: If your follow-up question can be answered from what's already in the conversation, the assistant now answers directly instead of re-running the same search. Ask it to refresh if you want the latest numbers re-pulled.

  • Long investigations no longer run out of room: Very long, tool-heavy conversations are now condensed automatically rather than failing, with a clear marker shown when this happens.

  • Background work no longer slows down your chat: Overnight briefings, workflow runs and Theatre sessions now use their own capacity, so heavy background activity can't make your daytime chat sluggish.

  • Faster, more consistent performance: Every chat, Xpert, workflow and autonomous run now uses our current default model, which has substantially more capacity than before, reducing the throttling some of you saw.

  • No more duplicate recurring runs: Recurring briefs, scheduled workflows and goals were sometimes running multiple times over; each now runs exactly once.

  • Content calendar idea generation: The "Generate ideas" action now tells you what happened

  • Resilient conversations: Refreshing the page, losing your connection, or closing the tab no longer interrupts an in-progress response — your chat keeps working in the background and picks up right where it left off. Reopening a conversation while the Assistant is still replying now shows it resume live, mid-stream, and even if you close the tab entirely, the finished answer is waiting in your history when you return.

  • Faster responses: Responses now complete faster overall, and a slow connection no longer slows down the Assistant itself. Your conversation history is always complete, capturing every step even if you weren't watching it happen.

  • No more stuck "running" indicators: Tools like Search Integration Data no longer show as running forever after a chat has actually finished, including after a page reload. If something is interrupted on our end, you'll now see a clear message instead of an endless spinner.

  • Follow team runs: You can now follow the live progress of team flow runs that a colleague started, not just the ones you started yourself.

  • Reliable flow runs: Flows now keep running on the server even if you close the tab, refresh the page, or your device goes to sleep, so a run you started won't get stuck or lost.

  • Live progress on reopen: Reopening a running flow now shows its real, live progress — including node status and elapsed time — instead of a frozen snapshot, even if it's running on a different server.

  • Accurate run status: You'll no longer see a flow reported as completed or failed when it actually wasn't; the status shown now reflects the real outcome.

  • Faster clean-up of stuck runs: Runs that have genuinely stopped are now marked as failed within about 10 minutes, with a clear reason, instead of appearing to run forever.

  • More reliable knowledge-base search: Knowledge-base searches now automatically retry if temporarily throttled, instead of failing outright.

  • Fixed corrupted conversations: A rare issue that could leave a long chat in a broken state after it was automatically compacted has been fixed.

  • More accurate usage reporting: Token and cost reporting for autonomous agents is now more accurate.

  • Clearer flow error messages: If a flow loses its connection to the server mid-run, you'll now see a clear inline notification instead of a generic "Network Error" pop-up. When a dropped connection means your flow might still be running, you're pointed to My Flows to check the result before retrying, and login or credential issues are flagged specifically so you know how to resolve them.

  • Improved sync reliability: Fixed a stability issue that could cause repeated service interruptions during background clean-up of deleted records on some accounts. Your Assistant, Flows and Xperts now remain available throughout, with no impact to your synced data.

  • Brand tagging for Knowledge Base and Assets: You can now tag knowledge entries and assets to one or more brands, sourced from your connected Xtremepush instances. Untagged items stay visible everywhere, and brand badges on cards and detail views make it easy to see what belongs to which brand.

  • Instance-locked chats: A chat now stays locked to the Xtremepush instance it started in, even if you reload the page, so campaign changes can no longer land in the wrong project. Start a new chat to switch instances.

  • Data Analyst accuracy: Data Analyst Xperts now query your data directly and return real analysis, rather than just an outline of the queries you'd need to run yourself.

  • Complete campaign content: Your Xperts now see the full content of large emails and API responses instead of a shortened version, so nothing is missed during review.

  • Sync reliability: Fixed a stability issue affecting Xtremepush campaign sync on large instances.

  • Brand tagging for Knowledge Base and Assets: You can now tag knowledge entries and assets to one or more brands. Brand badges show on cards and in detail views so you can see at a glance which brand something belongs to, and what you see is filtered to the brand you're currently working in. Anything you created before this release stays visible everywhere until you tag it.

  • Campaign status updates: Fixed an issue where updating campaign statuses could overload the servers and cause crashes.

  • Artefact sharing: Sharing individual artefacts now works correctly, and folder sharing has full permission parity with individual artefacts, including proper error messages and email/inbox notifications. A new "Shared with me" section has been added to the sidebar.

  • Campaign analytics without Intelligence: You can now get campaign performance metrics, such as sent, delivered, opens, clicks, rates, and unsubscribes, straight from your assistant even without the Intelligence add-on. This works across web push, email, and in-web, for all campaigns or a specific one, optionally scoped by date.

  • Assistant-authored journey emails: Ask your assistant to build a journey and it will write the email content and wire it into the email nodes, so journeys arrive ready to activate. It can also review and update content on existing journeys, and update any node, such as delays, decision rules, or messages, after creation without rebuilding the journey.

  • In-app messages in journeys: Journeys can now send in-app messages directly (iOS and/or Android), alongside email, SMS, push, and inbox.

  • Morning Briefing emails: Nudge emails now name the tenant they belong to, so multi-tenant users can tell them apart at a glance.

  • Journey validation: Decision and delay steps are now validated up front, with clear, correctable suggestions if something's wrong, instead of failing later.

  • Journey QA: The QA specialist now flags journey email nodes with no content as critical, and checks that decision branches have rules.

  • Schedule Trigger: Timezones no longer revert to UTC on save, so flows fire at the correct local time.

  • Marketing Calendar: The "Today" button now preserves your active view, and a missing-tables error affecting some tenants is fixed.

  • Artefact validation: Requested output types (such as CSV or HTML) can no longer be silently saved as raw markdown.

  • Journey channels and timezones: Requesting an unsupported channel is now rejected with the valid options, and timezone values in journey conditions and delays are validated to prevent avoidable errors.

  • Access controls: Permission checks across the platform are now stricter and more consistent, so usage, analytics, and settings data is only visible to authorised users.

  • Profile avatar: The avatar in the navigation rail has refreshed styling and shows an info card on hover.

  • Sync completeness: Campaign sync now reliably retrieves your complete data set, including on large accounts where some records could previously be missed.

  • Full Sync: The Full Sync option in instance settings now correctly re-fetches your full campaign history on demand.

  • Chat responses: Long multi-step responses no longer appear to hang. The final answer now displays as soon as it arrives.

  • Campaign calendar: The calendar no longer returns an error for accounts with complex, nested audience conditions.

  • Braze sync: Background sync for Braze integrations now completes reliably.

  • Analytics exports: Exports no longer fail for tables containing certain advanced column types.

  • Control Tower: The kill switch status indicator no longer generates repeated permission errors for members.

  • The Morning Briefing: Your configured autonomous Xperts now produce a single, consolidated Morning Briefing each day, summarising insights, activity, and recommendations. Log in each morning to find it waiting.

  • In-app usage reporting: Tenant admins can now view platform usage inline, including conversations, flow runs, crew sessions, and token consumption, measured against the monthly allowance with any overage highlighted.

  • Usage caps and notifications: Configure warning thresholds and optional hard caps for each usage metric. Get notified before you reach your limits and choose who receives those alerts.

  • Chat title: The name of your current conversation now shows at the top of the chat interface.

  • Elapsed time: After a long-running response completes, your assistant displays how long it took.

  • Artefact bulk actions: Select individual artefacts, move them to folders, share them, and download several at once as a ZIP from the new bulk actions bar.

  • Sync performance: Data sync is now incremental and resumable, making it faster and more reliable.

  • Morning Briefing recovery: Briefings that fail to complete now recover correctly, and recurring runs no longer accumulate duplicate versions.

  • Approvals: Rejecting a crew approval request, such as Create Campaign, now correctly stops the action.

  • Unpublished Xperts: Custom Xperts that are not yet published are now only visible to their creator.

  • Session refresh: Fixed an issue where sessions could fail to refresh in some deployments.

  • User management: Admins can now create a new user with the email address of a previously deactivated user.

  • Share modal: Fixed layout and dark mode text rendering in the artefact share modal.

  • The Morning Briefing: The Night Shift is now The Morning Briefing, a single structured daily digest with five sections: Platform Health, Performance Pulse, Events Radar, Advisory, and an Ideas Queue.

  • Multi-instance coverage: Platform Health and Performance Pulse run automatically across every connected Xtremepush instance, with per-instance drill-downs and an at-a-glance status on each section.

  • Actionable cards: Each insight offers one-click Build Now, Investigate, or Review actions that open your assistant with the context pre-loaded, plus Dismiss to clear a card.

  • Conversational setup: Configuration is now a set of free-text questions rather than a form, and The Morning Briefing has its own top-level menu item and home screen card.

  • Email summary: A short summary email links you back to the full briefing in the app.

  • Included for all paid plans: The Morning Briefing no longer requires a separate premium entitlement.

  • Seat-based plans: Monthly allowances for Conversations, Flow Runs, and Crew Sessions are now derived automatically from your seat count.

  • Artefact multi-select: Select artefacts and folders with checkboxes, then move, share, delete, or download any selection as a single ZIP.

  • Artefact organisation: Create a new folder from a selection, or drag and drop selected items onto folders to organise them.

  • Conversation titles: Conversations are now named automatically from your opening message and shown in the chat header alongside your assistant's name.

  • Response timing: Longer responses now show how long they took, such as Completed in 8m 12s, and running Flow nodes show live timers.

  • Assistant name: The name you give your assistant now appears throughout chat.

  • Resource view: Removed an unused analytics card from the resource detail view. Live analytics tools remain available on demand.

  • Sync reliability: Data sync for Xtremepush and Braze is now faster and more reliable, with fairer scheduling so no single account slows others down.

  • Share dialog: Fixed layout and dark mode text readability in the artefact share dialog.

  • Faster Xtremepush sync: Campaign and segment data now syncs on a two-pass schedule, a light hourly refresh and a full daily sync, so your data stays current without the wait.

  • Smarter segment syncing: Segment syncing is now incremental and only pulls what has changed, and campaign statuses update reliably, including campaigns that change state silently.

  • Simpler Flow builder: Removed the raw query node from the Flow builder for a simpler, safer building experience.

  • Artefact saving: Artefacts now save dependably with correct foldering, Markdown is the default format, and there is a clearer distinction between artefacts you save and those saved automatically.

  • Integrations page: Removed the Coming Soon section for a cleaner integrations page.

  • Flow cards: Action buttons now stay neatly inside the card.

  • Marketing Calendar: A read-only calendar showing your synced Xtremepush campaigns on the days they send, alongside sporting fixtures for the leagues you choose in the My Sports panel.

  • Audience visibility: Each campaign on the calendar shows who it targets, whether broadcast or specific segments, including audiences built with custom segment rules.

  • Smart insights: The calendar warns when two campaigns hit overlapping audiences on the same day, highlights fixtures with no lead-up campaign, and flags heavily messaged segments.

  • Campaign ideas: Your assistant suggests campaign ideas based on coverage gaps over the next three days, and you can capture your own ideas directly on the calendar.

  • Timezone accuracy: Fixtures and campaigns appear on the correct day and time for your tenant's timezone.

  • Mobile calendar: On phones the calendar switches to a single-day view with swipe navigation, tappable category chips, and a bottom-sheet league panel.

  • Session security: Logging in now signs out older sessions on other devices, and logout completes fully before you return to the login screen.

  • Integrations: Webhook handling is now more reliable.

  • On-demand full campaign sync: A new Full Sync action in integration settings retrieves your complete Xtremepush campaign history, including older campaigns that the regular incremental sync does not pick up.

  • Redesigned interface: A full visual overhaul with four themes (Light, Dim, Dark, or System) applied consistently across the app, plus a new navigation rail and refreshed controls throughout.

  • XpertOS on mobile: You can now use XpertOS on phones and tablets, with mobile layouts across every area of the product and touch-friendly editors for Flows, email, and image templates.

  • Command palette: Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to search across Xperts, Flows, conversations, assets, knowledge, artefacts, crews, and briefs from anywhere in the product.

  • Output language setting: A new tenant-level setting lets you choose UK or US English. Every surface, including chat, briefs, workflows, and reports, adopts the spelling you set.

  • Response ratings: Like and dislike buttons are now available on Chat, Flows, and Crew outputs, so you can signal response quality directly.

  • Journey QA Specialist: A new built-in Xpert that checks Xtremepush journeys against a structure, content, targeting, timing, and compliance checklist.

  • Flow labels: Organise Flows with a shared, reusable label library, and filter the My Flows list by who created each flow.

  • Flow lifecycle status: Flows now show a Live, Pending, Past, or Draft status badge, with status filtering and visual grouping.

  • Assistant settings in Chat: You can now personalise your assistant (name, tone, and avatar) directly from the Chat header.

  • Artefacts: Artefacts created in chat now appear in the Artefacts view.

  • Navigation: Knowledge Base and Xpert Artefacts are grouped under a new Content section.

  • Campaign sync: Sync is now incremental and non-destructive, so your synced campaign history is preserved even if a fetch fails.

  • Campaign Builder: Builder output now persists after you refresh the page.

  • Team workflows: Team workflow runs now stream reliably with the correct account context.

  • Chat history: Chat answers now persist correctly in the conversation history.

  • Interface polish: Numerous dark mode and mobile layout fixes across the app.

  • The Night Shift: Configure overnight use cases and wake up to ready-made ideation reports, generated from live odds, events, and news for your chosen sports, leagues, keywords, and regions. Available on premium plans.

  • Build Now: Overnight reports arrive as a carousel of campaign cards, each with a Build Now button that opens your assistant and builds that campaign for you.

  • Night Shift page: A dedicated page with per-use-case cards, an enable toggle, configuration, a run now option, and a versioned report viewer.

  • Assistant identity: Give your assistant a name, tone, and avatar, shown in the chat header and message bubbles, with a large avatar collection to choose from.

  • Segment Builder: A new specialist that discovers your account's tags, attributes, and events, then creates valid segments for you, with approval required before anything is created.

  • Timezone setting: A new tenant-level timezone setting means every Xpert knows your local date and time, so requests such as "this week" or "tomorrow" work correctly.

  • Flow context: Flows now preserve full node output, such as subjects, senders, and full HTML, for downstream agents, with large content saved as retrievable artefacts.

  • Control Room: Removed the non-functional chat bar from the Control Room.
