Widget Preview
Test user interactions and verify how the widget appears to different users in the Preview tab.
The Preview tab allows you to see exactly how the widget appears to any user. The screen is divided into a Configuration panel on the left, the widget preview in the centre, and a Quick Actions panel on the right.

Widget Preview
Configuration Panel
Use the left hand panel to adjust how the preview loads:
-
User ID: Select a user to preview the widget for. The preview displays the widget as soon as you select a User ID.
If you’re configuring the widget for the first time and your users haven’t been recorded in the All Userstab, you can create a test user by typing out any user ID. This shows a default preview of the widget.
-
Language: Select a language from those configured in the Languages tab. Selecting a language translates built in Widget components. See Widget Layout for more details on widget components.
The titles and descriptions of your configured loyalty features, like reward rules and achievements are not automatically translated.
-
Color Mode: Toggle between Auto, Light, and Dark mode to preview how the theme looks in each setting.
-
Page: Select a specific page to preview if required. For more information on page structure, see Widget Layout.
Quick Actions
The right hand panel allows you to test user interactions with the widget:
- Reload Widget: Refreshes the widget preview. Use this if recent changes do not appear.
- Send Event: Simulates an event to test how any loyalty features, like quests or reward rules, are triggered. When you select an event, the JSON payload is displayed for reference before you test the event send.
- Send Reward: Allows you to simulate changes to the widget when a user receives a reward. Use this option to test how a reward pop-up appears to a user or how their total tokens and transactions change when they receive a reward.
- Open User Info: Displays the full profile and details of the currently selected user ID.
