Your assistant is the chat interface for XpertOS. You ask questions in plain language, and it answers using your data: your analytics, your campaigns, and your connected tools. It can also carry out tasks for you, such as drafting a campaign or building a segment.
Make it yours
The assistant starts generic, and you can personalise it:
Open Assistant from the sidebar.
Click the personalisation link in the chat header (it reads Make me yours until you have set it up).
Choose a name, a tone, and an avatar. Your assistant then appears with that identity throughout the platform.
What you can ask
Type of request | Examples |
|---|---|
Data analysis | "Show me our top 10 campaigns by click-through rate this month" · "Compare last week's signups to the week before" |
Campaign information | "List all active segments" · "What campaigns are scheduled for tomorrow?" |
Research | "Search for recent news about Premier League transfers" · "What are the odds for Saturday's fixtures?" |
Connected tools | "Find the Q4 marketing report in Google Drive" · "Show me this week's open Zendesk tickets" |
Doing work | "Draft an email campaign for the weekend fixtures" · "Create a segment of users inactive for 30 days" |
Anything that changes your live systems waits for you
When the assistant creates campaigns or segments, they arrive as drafts and significant actions pause for your approval in the Inbox. You review before anything goes live. You can control which tools require human approval before execution via Settings > Governance > Policies
How conversations work
Each conversation has its own memory. Follow-ups like "break that down by channel" work naturally within a conversation.
Conversations are titled automatically from your opening message, and the title shows at the top of the chat so you always know which session you are in.
Start a new chat when you switch topics. A clean slate avoids the assistant carrying over context that no longer applies.
Past conversations are saved. Open the history to pick up where you left off.
Long tasks show their working. The assistant displays the tools it runs as it works, and shows how long a longer task took when it finishes.
Artefacts can be created and saved. The Assistant or related Agents can save their output from any conversation as Artefacts.
Getting better answers
Include a time frame: "last week", "in January", "over the past 90 days".
Name the metric: "open rate", "click-through rate", "conversion rate".
Name the source when it matters: "from Jira", "in my Google Drive".
Correct and retry: if the answer misses, say so. "I meant push campaigns, not email. Try again."
Help improve the platform
You can rate any response with the like and dislike buttons. Feedback goes to Xtremepush and helps improve answer quality.
Reading a response
A typical response includes tool execution cards showing which tools ran and their status, the answer itself, and formatted data such as tables or charts. The tool cards are your audit trail: they show exactly where the information came from.
