Update May 2023

Universal Analytics will be replaced by Google Analytics 4 on July 1, 2023. This replacement will sunset the Google Analytics 3 integration on the platform.

As a result of this, Google Analytics segments will not be available to use in the campaigns. The new Google Analytics 4 integration will only support gathering Google Analytics IDs from web SDKs.

Upgrade to Google Analytics 4

After upgrading to Google Analytics 4, follow these steps to update your web applications in Xtremepush, which will allow you to continue collecting GA IDs after July 1, 2023.

From your Google Analytics dashboard, open Admin > Data Streams and click on the Data Stream that you aim to integrate with. From the opened window, copy the Measurement ID.

From the Xtremepush dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps & Sites. Click on the web application that you aim to upgrade to Google Analytics 4 and open the Settings of the website. Paste your Measurement ID on the Tracking ID section.
